Year 7 Retreat

Last Thursday Year 7 attended their annual Retreat at the Rhino Lodge. Mrs Elissa Burden REC – Ministry and Mission, Mr Jamie Gay – Year 7 Coordinator and Mr Ian Marchant – Proactive Programs Coordinator all were very impressed with the 2020 Year 7 students and their participation during the day. The Year 11 Peer Support Leaders were introduced to their Peer Support Groups in Year 7 and facilitated small group discussion and activities with the Year 7 students. The 2020 Year 11 student Peer Support Leaders are an outstanding cohort of students and are stepping up to this leadership role with enthusiasm. Thank you to Mr Gay for his organisation of the Retreat, and all the teachers who attended. These staff members are the Pastoral Teachers of Year 7 and have already developed a relationship with the students to provide a solid foundation as they move forward.
