Last week Isaah Yeo (Year 12 2012) returned to the College to help with a Gym session that some of our footballers do in the off season. Isaah had a stellar year playing for the Penrith Panthers NRL side, and has now over 50 1st grade games, and only just turning 22. He also was selected for NSW Country in the City – Country clash, and last month was awarded the Panthers Senior Education Award for his tertiary studies (Bachelor of Education).
Also from Year 12 2012, Jacob Tratt has been playing A League with the Wellington Phoenix. Jacob was at Sydney FC for the last few years in their Youth League, but now has stepped up to the premier soccer competition in Australia. He’s been in starting XI the first 3 rounds of the 2016/17 A league competition for the NZ side. Fellow classmate from Year 7 and 8 Tomas Robertson recently played 4 games for the Wallabies against Argentina, South Africa and New Zealand. Tomas went to St Joseph’s Hunters Hill in Year 9. He’s our 2nd Wallaby after Beau Robinson (Year 10 2002) played for the National team in 2011. All 3 were in the same class at St Mary’s Dubbo, before attending the College.
