Year 10 Geography conduct fieldwork at the Zoo

Year 10 Geography classes undertook fieldwork at Taronga Western Plains Zoo last Thursday and Friday. They examined wetlands throughout the Zoo, and conducted water testing at Billabong Camp. The students were also involved in a catch and release fishing experience run by DPI Fisheries Education officer Brett Smith. The fieldwork was linked to Land and Water Management, which all classes are studying this Term. Thank you to the Zoo and Fisheries NSW staff especially Rebecca Nielsen Zoo Education Officer, and former St Johns students Natasha Kelly (Class of 2006) and Brett Smith (Class of 1991).
