Year 10 Geography Excursion

Wednesday and Thursday saw Year 10 Geography students investigate the water management strategies employed by Taronga Western Plains Zoo. This included testing the water of the Savannah lakes for salinity, turbidity and alkalinity as well as cataloging the many invertebrates that call the lake home. Swimming Carnival

SportStudent Achievements

The College Swimming Carnival was held on Tuesday 27 February. McAuley won the overall day with LaSalle coming in second. Casey Sullivan was the winner of the Belly Flop competition. There were 20 plus records broken on the day.  Congratulations to all swimmers, Age Champions and record breakers.

Year 12 Retreat

Excursion

Year 12 went on their retreat last week. It involved 3 days of activities at Elanora Heights. The students participated in liturgy, reflection activities, reconciliation, group discussions and indoor games. This opportunity for Year 12 students to spend time together is pivotal for their preparation for the challenges over the year ahead.
