11 AugCOVID UPDATE
Dear Families, Students and Staff,
NSW Health has decreed that Dubbo will enter a lockdown from 1pm today 11th August to the 19th August. Parents are welcome to come and collect their students by phoning the front office.
We are being told by local bus company’s that buses will continue to collect students at the normal time today and will continue to transport students home on their usual bus routes. Students need to adhere to the mandatory expectation of mask wearing on public transport.
NSW Health is advising that students should remain at home from 1pm 11th August until the 19th August. The school will remain open for the duration of the lockdown with limited teacher supervision for the students of essential workers that need to be at school.
Remote Learning will come into effect from Thursday. Teachers will be using tomorrow to move to our remote learning platform. Students will be able to access lessons via Google Classrooms. We will send out an overview tomorrow of our online learning program.
We understand that there will be some families who have limited devices or limited internet at home. It is important that you let us know and we can provide hard copies of learning materials for these students.
Stay safe everyone, our community wellbeing is our greatest priority.
